TRUE HORROR: Scary Movies That Actually Happened!?
With the release of the latest Conjuring movie: The Conjuring: Last Rites , I thought I’d sit down and bang out a little article, a little essay, about one of my favorite weird corners of horror cinema: those movies that are actually based on true incidents. A Great Night at the Midway Drive-In!
Last weekend I hosted this year's Flashback Weekend annual Dusk to Dawn Horrorfest at The Midway Drive-In and it was one of the best yet. Day 3 is usually when I take advantage of the vendor room and the Celebrity Photo-Ops. YOUR Flashback Weekend Memories!
As this week's tribute to The Flashback Weekend Horror Convention continues here at the Blog, I would like to share some of YOUR favorite stories and memories from Flashback Weekends of the past. I received a ton of fun stories from you (thank you so much for sharing!) and, since I wrote about my five moments, I narrowed yours down to five, too. 1) From ROB "Horror, particularly slashers, was one of my gateways into cinema. Robert Kojder with Freddy Krueger himself, Robert E
