Emmys 2024: A Recap...Sort Of.

I watched this year's Emmy Awards ceremony and it was pretty great. Father/son duo of Eugene and Dan Levy did a nice job as hosts, the writing was surprisingly sharp, the show was well paced and moved along nicely, and it contained what I thought was one of the the best In Memoriam segments in Awards history...until I realized they excluded Shelley Duvall!?!?

But, instead of writing in detail about my thoughts and observations, I thought it would be a fun experiment to just post the hand-written notes I took down as I watched....also, I'm really lazy.

So, here are my notes. They just popped into my head as I wrote them while the show was taking place. I hope you can read them, make some sense of them, and have fun with them.
